Warlord and his tribesmen defect from the Taleban in southern Afghanistan...

The balance of power may shift a little in southern Afghanistan with the report that a local warlord is negotiating with the coalition forces to defect from the Taleban with his thousands of tribesmen.

He and his men could then join the coalition forces in the southern region of Afghanistan against the Taleban.

This could actually be a significant factor and affect the balance of power because the Taleban were reported to have become stronger in the area in recent months.

Hi Huttriver.... Good to see you over here as well.

It surly couldn't hurt but who knows if any of them can be trusted. It's hard to imagine that we can't find an old guy wondering around in the hills isn't it? I mean that is of course if George Bush actually wanted to find him. We would have him if he weren't in bed with George!
