While, I've heard some bad things about them, their prices are low. When I was in Garden City, I think my wife and I would have struggled to survive shopping at Albertsons or some other store.

Yes, they've got problems. That's why we've got a court system and a labor department. The life of wal-mart workers is not made better by refusing to shop there.

I feel the same way about Wal-Mart as I do about Microsoft. In other words, I'd like to see it go the way of the dinosaurs. I could write a book on the evils of Wal-Mart.

I USED to love the old walmart, the one where old sam still had control of it. When all the items were american made and only american made. Since his death all his greedy little partners are trying to corner the market on the world of everything. I much preferred the old walmart to the new. So I will say I hate it but I still shop there (and hate every minute of it lol).

Thanks for the comments so far. Beth Ann put a twist I hadn't expected. A Wal-Mart hater.... who still shops there anyway. Interesting. Perhaps some more people will weigh in under that new category.
