waitressing horror stories

okay, i was a waitress for 3 years, with 2 bosses. one the coolest boss you could ever want. the other, his mom, was the scariest boss you could ever want. she once fired the bar girl, for throwing away left over food at the end of the night. the bar girl had been working there for about 6 years. the cool boss, used to run in the back and hide when salesmen came to the door. he made me pretend he was busy. then there were the customers- i once had to wait on three drunk people, during the busiest time of day, with a packed dining room, and no managers around. one cussed me out because i smiled. another tried to grab my butt, and gave me his phone number about ten times. it's a non-smoking restaurant, they all three lit up, and put the ashes on their dishes. i had one lady throw a baked potato at me. need i say more? i will though. very soon. with more detailed stories. i figure i'll start my own journal on all of my horrible waitressing stories, with a couple of tips for all of you struggling waitresses. here's the first tip- it's never a good idea, to spill chicken nuggets in a customers lap. they take it personally, and may not tip so well.

I just posted a similar srticle. Yours came up in the "similar blogs" section. TOO FUNNY! I can sooooo relate to all the things you say! I absolutely LOVE your idea about starting a journal of horror stories! Thats a wonderful idea! Keep up the good work! I want to hear more!

Oh my god!

I'm sorry you can't meet my last boss but you'd say that the devil reincarnated into a person and came on earth to bully me around. I had the worst time of my life working in his office. We're nice people. We deserve to be appreciated.
