Just when you thought you’d seen every kind of virtual pet there is, there is now a children’s site that I won’t name offering downloadable virtual pet rocks.
It works like most virtual pets. You feed it. You discipline it. You have to give it lots of attention. There’s just one thing I object to. The food this pet rock eats is drugs. That’s right, drugs. This is all fine and humorous for the adult set, especially the 18 to early 20s set, but this should never be on a site targeted to young children. What was the webmaster thinking?
