Well, I was hoping Norv Turner would stay on as the offensive coordinator for the 9ers. They could have gone along ways. I don't blame him though, being offered a head coaching job would be hard to turn down. I wish him the best of luck and a bright future with the Chargers, especially haveing a quality RB in LT. Not only on the field but off as well. LT is a stand up guy and I hope they have another chance to play in the playoffs, maybe this time they can take down the dang Patsies.
The 49ers now need to look for a decent replacement for a quality offensive coordinator. They didn't fare very well, but they swept the 'Hawks last season, and they are a very young team with alot of talent and alot of petential to make a superbowl run in a couple years. As long as they keep their young core together and help each other out both on and off the field. Smith, Gore, and Bryant could be the next Montana, Craig, and Rice if they work together and build there team chemistry together. Now about there defense, not much to say but they have nowhere to go but up. 'Specially since Nolan is a defense minded coach and takes more responsibility for the defense play calling. Once these are taken care of expect a superbowl run by 2008, and many more after that. Go 9ERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
