Tragedy in Princeton, KY
Today, I saw something that just breaks my heart.
Phillip Knee located in Caldwell County, Kentucky, has been charged with the murder of his girlfriend's 10 month old son.
His initial story to police was that he propped the bottle in the baby's mouth and went outside. When he returned, he found the baby not breathing.
He later admitted to holding the bottle in the baby's mouth until the baby stopped breathing.
Although he's now been charged with murder, it still just devastates me. Nothing will bring that baby back. That's a sweet, innocent little life put out by a very sick person that should have never been left alone with that baby. Where was the mother?
Almost daily we hear on the news about men that murder their girlfriend's children. As single parents, these women need to be more protective of their children and not expose them to every man they date. Our children are sacred, and not to be placed in harm's way.

While I agree that it's a tragedy Ethan is dead, one needs to know the full spectrum of the life Ethans' own mother provided for him. She was/is a horrible mother who cared more about getting sex and inviting men she didn't even really know to live with her than taking care of those kids.
