It used to be said that you have to have a website in order to have a web presence. It sounded really good, and everyone started paying web design companies tons of money to have a website built for their business.

Most websites, have truly become that "throw away" business card or brochure, that the salesman drops off on his way to work. He drops off his fancy brochure, leaves his card, and says, give me a call once you have taken a look at the brochure. The guy he just handed the brochure politely nods his head yes, and when the salesman leaves the janitor stops by to collect the trash and sure enough the guy says hold on, I have one more thing to throw away...Yeah it is the brochure along with the business card.
