I enjoy the yard markers in football. You know – the ones that mark whether there should be a first down or not. I like the line that they have on TV that only the viewers can see but not the people at the game. It’s like you can tell if there will be a first down before anybody in the crowd. I always wonder how they keep the yard markers straight, though. I mean, they have to run to the point where the ball is downed but who’s to say they don’t stray from those exact points? Some of the first downs are achieved by only centimeters. One inch to the left or right could mean the difference in a game sometimes.
