One look at the latest gossip websites should have us regular folk counting our lucky stars that we AREN'T stars. Sure, the money would be nice, but...

1. It doesn't make the paper when we get dumped. This is already one of the most painful, humiliating things a person goes through without it being announced all over the world.

2. If we split our britches, only a few bystanders are likely to see and laugh until they split theirs.

3. If we do something illegal, dumb, and downright dangerous like, say, run a red light, we don't have a hoard of guys with cameras there to document it. And later have the tape subpoenaed as evidence in court.

Nah, I'd rather have the fame and cash and just learn to behave myself in public, how about you?
