Today's Country Music at a look....

[b]In today's country music, type of the style that is,I've noticed from the pop music on the charts, that country is coming into a more of a pop music catagory. What do you think?
Back in the 80's and 70's,country than was more like Western style music, with a little bit of a country twang to it also.
Country use to be the beer drinking type of songs that would make the man want to go out to a bar,and get drunk while listening to George Jones' song on the jukebox,"He stopped loving her today."The new country style in music today has dramatically changed over the years. And i've watched it change throughout my lifetime growing up in the mid 80's to the early 90's and than now today. My opinion on country music is that it is more less like a sort of a pop country more than Hard-core country.Sure, there are some country music artists out there today that may sound still a little (hard-core country),but i've noticed the change for several years ago when it started it's first change.I guess that would be the group that first stepped into Nashville,Tennessee,Little Texas. But,some of their songs were a little country, and than some were not.The idea is that country music has changed alot since back in the early 80's to the late 90's.A whole decade, and than now,it is becoming more pop.People are being discovered out of the American Idol tv show, which is popular in L.A.

For the most part,is that country music has changed some part of people's lives either for the better or for the worse.I have interviewed some people in my hometown about their thoughts of the change, and about 78% was for the fact that country should be replaced back as it was before.I don't have no real thoughts about country the way it has changed, only that i am more used to the old type style of it.But for us folks that do enjoy the older songs in country,we still can listen to them, maybe not on the radio in our car,but here on the internet radio stations.I use to be a big fan of country music, until i started noticing the change, and left the genre because of that. Now,it just doesn't make sense to me on some of the songs that are played on country radio stations.
But at least we all can still listen to the old ones. That's the best part and the best part of country music,is that all of the REAL country singers,Like George Jones,Tammy Wynette,Loretta Lynne,Johnny Cash,to name off a few, some of them may be gone, but their music will live in our hearts forever.
Thanks
Blessed Be
