All right, already! We are having yet another day of ice and snow. It is April 11, when are we going to begin to have warmer weather? Everyone is still donning their winter coats, and my kids are looking longingly at their shorts and t-shirts wondering if they will ever get to wear them. Two of my daughters have been rollerblading inside the house. They have yet to have a day nice enough to go out to skate. The noise is deafening and the little lines in the carpet from the wheels are a little odd to be sure, but I don't know what else to do. Another of my daughters has been practicing her softball pitch down in the basement with a tennis ball. My house is a mess, my furnace is still running, and my dog won't go outside to do her business. She just stands at the door and shivers. When, oh when will it end? If it doesn't get warm soon, everyone is going to go crazy! I may have to invest in one of those lamps they use to reduce Seasonal Affective Disorder.
