The 2007 Super Bowl will match....drumroll please...the Indianapolis Colts and the Dallas Cowboys. This is the year the Colts finally break through and don't choke in the playoffs. The Cowboys are playing the best football in the NFC right now and have the player who is emerging as the best quarterback in the conference in Tony Romo. The Chicago Bears are everyone's favorite to make the Super Bowl out of the NFC, but much of their success has been the result of fluky special teams play and blind luck. Their quarterback play from Rex Grossman has been generally dreadful lately and head coach Lovie Smith is reluctant to replace him with Brian Griese, the veteran backup QB. And keep in mind, the two playoff teams the Bears have produced in the last 5 seasons were a combined 26-6 in the regular season.....and 0-2 in the playoffs. The most likely challengers for Indianapolis in terms of being the AFC representative appear to be the Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers, and New England Patriots. Any of these teams would crush the Bears in a meeting with them.
