Things to do this week ...

Well, lets see tomorrow I'll be going to get my hair colored so I'm all shinny for my meeting with the job recruiter at 2:30. So I restructured my day tomorrow so that I can go for my hair at 12:30 and then see the recruiter at 2:30. Yah it takes a while to get your hair foiled, but I'm worth it :)

I'm looking forward to the meeting and to being spoiled :) that's always cool to get my hair done and feel all purty.

Today is a relaxation day, most of the weekend was relaxing too but we went saturday to a baby shower and then sunday to take my daughter for some clothes shopping. I want to go with my friend who knows alot of places with GREAT prices for clothes shopping. I can't see paying more for my daughters clothing or paying full price AT ALL when she's going to grow out of them so quickly.

I also have to take her to the dentist this week, instead of the appt., for next week because her little tooth hurts, so I put a call into the DDS for that, to reschedule for this week if we can.

Called nordictrack, I bought an elliptical machine, a folding one in January and the fan stopped working this weekend for some reason. For now I'm using a floor fat tilted up so that'll suffice but because of my inconvenience, :) !!!! they are going to send me a plug (which I didnt' know they had at all) which plugs the console in (where the fan is) and has all that electronic stuff on it. Heck I didn't know there was a plug on it, I've been going through batteries pretty quick and NOW because of this minor inconvenience, I'll be getting a new console in about 3 weeks AND the plug for it as well so I don't have to pay for all those batteries.

I think that's really cool!

S'cuse me, I'm going to look around my house and pretend someone is coming over (you know, we always want things nice when company is coming) and see what I can get done instead of just letting it be. It's amazing how much I can take time for granted sometimes.

BUT I realized as well that, I alreayd have a pattern of doing things. Like, normally I'd work 9/5 and then do my stuff after I got home or some of it on the weekends. Now THIS is an ingrained habit, so I realized this over the past week. There I am feeling like I am wasting time ... and I'm sure I am :) in many ways, but at the same time, my schedule changed, but my habits did not.

So, I'm working on that as well. To adjust my habits accordingly so I'm finished quicker. Now, the things is, I don't want to get into the habit of doing things all the time during the day because when I go back to work I'll be screwed because my daily schedule will change again, insofar as getting ready for work or workign out.

So, I have to change when I work out to how it was before I got laid off. Which is "prior" to getting ready in the morning or leaving the house. Now, what I'm doing is, I know I hvae the time so I can actually "not" do it until 3:00 pm which seems to be a pattern I've been falling into. Way to work out watching Dr. Phil ya know? :) I'm distracted by a show I like and I've got this extra time.

So, it's not a matter of my being lazy or truly taking time for granted it was/is a pattern of doing things on a daily basis while I was working, and now those patterns are changing up... I think this is a really cool realization.
