That's right I'm going to a Gay Pride Movie Premiere in Houston. The movie that I was in "Theft"

Yeah, I'm going to be a Gay Movie Star. I'm glad I gave myself the TOTAL MAN PACKAGE moniker years ago because it works well in this industry. Remember, you idiots better not out me as straight until I sign my Ironclad Multimillion Dollar "Broke Back Mountain II" movie deal. Ideally, I'll get outed by the Gay Paparazzi in a hotel room full of strippers after I've signed my multimillion dollar movie deal. Then, I'll get paid and won't even have to do the movie. I want fortune not fame at least not a lot of gay movie fame.

Hey, wait a minute I think I've got a great movie script idea here. A no name, no where Actor who's straight (that's me) starts doing gay movies (non porn you idiots) because it's the only roles he can get. Then, just when he's just about to break through with the big pay off in a major Gay role he's outed as straight and loses the part. Of course, the movie has to have a happy cheese ball ending. So, I turn all 15 minutes of media fame into some television appearances and crappy reality shows.

Yeah, it sounds like a lame 80's teenager movie, but is Adam Sandler's new Gay movie any better than this? I doubt it.

THEFT World Premiere October 18th Benefits PRIDE Houston

The World Premiere of the motion picture THEFT is Thursday, October 18th, at the River Oaks Theatre in Houston, Texas. PRIDE Houston is hosting this exciting evening as part of the organization's exceptional
fundraising efforts that serve the Houston area.

From filmmaker Paul Bright, THEFT is a riotous comedy about an evangelical preacher's absurd attempts to shut down a gay club. Starring Matthew Charles Burnet, David La Duca, Cynthia Scheibel and Patrick Henderson, THEFT follows the plight of a small town bar caught in the cross-hairs of a church building zealot. With music performed by the international disco star Hedda Layne, the soulful ballads of Austin band Jelly Jar, and additional music from Kris Kimura Quartet, THEFT is a rip roaring 90 minutes of unexpected twists and turns. THEFT releases internationally in January 2008 through Water Bearer Films.

PRIDE Houston has an enormous base of supporters and friends and the organization is pulling out all the stops to make the October 18th Premiere a huge success! Following the premiere, PRIDE Houston is also hosting an after party.

Although THEFT was filmed in Austin with some local actors and crew, the Austin Gay and Lesbian Film Festival was unable to handle the world premiere. The film production company sought a Texas non-profit organization with the skills to professionally handle the capacity expected for this event and PRIDE Houston stepped up to the plate. Event organizers anticipate an early sell-out.
