I just watched a great movie. The Squid and the Whale. I know that everyone's already saying it's great but that's because it is. I love that Bernard, the Jeff Daniels character, is constantly trying to be a writer. He is a published author but he hasn't written anything in a while and it seems that every line of dialogue that he says is preformed in his mind to be dialogue from a book. it's mostly over dramatic - espescially the scen when he goes to pick up his son at his ex-wife's house and he says "It's painful for me to walk up those steps. I used to live here. You know that of course."
Also he's a huge asshole throughout which is hillarious. More and more could be said about this movie but It's 230 in the morning and I'm very tired. That's about the only perk about running a movie theatre is that I can watch the damn things whenever I feel like it. Anyways....
