I recently read,The Secret it intrigued me.If you are into positive-thinking then this metaphysical offering's for you.I'd gone through another moment of
despair,I guess I'll call it that.Recently recovering from Appendix-surgery and going back to work dealing with negative-energy/people.Needless to say reading this book gave me a pick-up.Though I was making changes in my life before the sixth twist of fate,I'd
experienced more on that later.I guess in god's eyes and the universe whichever you choose to acknowledge,it wasn't quick enough.Well the Zen like teachings center on channeling or what some would call
karma,what you put out you get returned to you tenfold.I believed that to an extent. So I'm some what bias.Well as I read the book then I started focusing on tweaking positive-affirmations and less on things heightening my stress-level.That once I re-evaluated them weren't worth the
effort I afforded them to have over me.I saw change and for a month,(Peace).I dont dwell on negativity,by listening to gossip or being around those people.The book has showed me,truly from what you think your life
becomes.The book isn't a cure all and it's detractors
critique it as such with their banter,it stole some from the great book of them all..The Bible.There are similarities but however,a person is positively-receptive and influence to make changes to benefit their life better is the point!whether it's their finances,self-improvement,relations is what I got from reading it.
Oh,that sixth-twist of fate I spoke of earlier was my
sixth near death experience.I would have die had I not
listen to god to check myself into the hospital immediately that day I left work.The doctor said
so.I'm a walking-testimony!literally,5.survived robbery at gun point(point-blank)range son's first birthday,that changed me forever!,I was quick-tempered then.I learned perspective for my son's-sake and mine,Life's too-short for stupidity,4.surgery to remove a rare birthmark that could have become cancerous,3.broke left-leg counter-clockwise(picture-it)gross like a friday the thirteenth movie due to a bike accident.doctor's said if I re-broke it would never heal right,2.accidently stuck new ice-pick in left hand at nine over my friends playground.Had the sense to remove it slowly and calmly there was (no-blood)it missed veins,1.literally bleed to death from a cut to my right-finger as a child.From fighting with cousin over a toy plastic piggy-bank.Money was on my mine early,ha,ha.So,I'm truly here for a purpose and this book along with the Bible has helped me in my life.
