The New Millennium Devil's Dictionary - Sex/Adult (Romance #5)

adult | humor | New Millennium Devil's Dictionary | satire | sex

SEX, n. In Latin and German, six - which is five too many. In biology, the sum of those things that distinguish male from female, lazily and wickedly contracted to refer only to the physical conjoining of male and female ("copulation") - which is the costliest and most debilitating of all addictions.

ADULT, adj. Prurient, bestial; pertaining to the pervasive and lasting preoccupation of the naked apes with their nakedness, to the exclusion of all else.

    It’s a paradise land, but on a planet far off
    In a galaxy distant and lonely,
    Where the citizens flock to windowless shops,
    And plunk down some serious money
    For calculus glossies and suchly;
    Where science and thought are marked clearly “Adult",
    Folk rush to hold history closely;
    While in the mall stalls, the bimboed bikinis
    Are kept in the section “Kids only".
