DEVIL, n. You, if you cross me. See FRIEND.

FRIEND, n. ENEMY, one letter removed from his true state.

ENEMY, n. DEVIL - to the generals and the general public. FRIEND – of politicians who need to keep the world safe for their country’s arms manufacturers.

Devil's Dictionary

Hey o ceallaigh - do you write these each time or do you actually have these all done already?

You should publisher a book! The original Devil's Dictionary was pretty popular, no?

Both. I have a stockpile and I write new ones all the time.

I do in fact have a book in mind, or at least serial publication. I haven't been entirely encouraged by the hits, though ... nevertheless, I might offer them up someplace like AssociatedContent and see if anyone wants to hire me for a weekly column :).

Re: NM Devil's Dictionary

I think they're great. I'm sure other people agree. It's just not something that everyone and anyone is going to take interest in, at least not at first, but is the type of thing that can create a following. Kinda like the original Devil's Dictionary.
