BULLET, n. The final arbiter of disputes. The larger the dispute, the bigger the bullet (see NUKE). One of the most widespread and prolific species in Nature despite the apparent rarity of the cowet, whose shy and retiring demeanor stands in sharp contrast with the belligerency of her mate.
BATTLE, n. The bullet's prime breeding ground. This circumstance sets the pacifist and the environmentalist at odds - the goal of the former, world peace, puts the bullet at risk of extinction, compelling the latter to fight for the preservation of the species through conservation of sufficient amounts of critical habitat.
