I've never been any good at sales. Perhaps that's why I've not really dipped into the online auction sites. On the face of it, they should appeal. All you need is a couple of digital photos and a good description, which I should be able to write, given my job.
But somehow I've wimped out. Whenever we've sold anything on Ebay, I've let someone else do all the work. Because I hear it takes time to get everything just the way you want it and to make sure you don't pay any fees you don't have to.
I like the idea of it - selling my stuff without leaving home appeals to the lazy sod in me, but the reality is that I'm so busy that I haven't made the time to get into Ebay properly.
What I really need is some free eBay auction software. I'm a great believer in free software. My antivirus is free, my firewall is free, my text editor is free (no, I don't mean Notepad), so why not free auction software? Anyone got any recommendations?
