Audition Notice for dancers who want to perform & choreograph!

Then The Movement Collective wants YOU!!! (we are looking for 5-7 dancers Male and/or Female)

Must be available for rehearsal Wed evenings 8-9 pm & Tues mornings from 10-1
Modern Dance, Choreography/Improvisation required.
Bring resume & headshot to the audition (we will not accept emails).

Who we are:
We are a group of dancers committed to the sharing of movement. Our vision is to foster an environment where we can share our choreographic ideas to create a piece set on the members of the company. Renee, Molly, and Alaine are the artistic directors in which we forsee what our future goals are for the company, find venues for rehearsals/performances/auditions, divide up responsibility amongst ourselves and the dancers to foster our talents in marketing, design, organization, finances, etc. in order to maintain a successful company. Our vision is to foster a creative ground in which dancers can bring creative original ideas to the studio for experimentation, rehearsal, and finally performance.
We have recently performed at Dance Forum in collaboration with Open Floor Dance & Jeffrey Peterson Dance and looking towards putting our own evening length show in the fall of 2006.
