The real Huttriver...

Spookyank asked me for a picture for my blog a while back, and I have finally obliged.

The Hutt River runs through the Hutt Valley, passing both Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt cities, just few miles from New Zealand's capital city of Welington.

It is now a tamed river, but used to be a little monster in the old days, before stopbanks were created to cotrol the river.
