The Hidden Waterfall ---- A Poem

Submitted by bugsey on April 9, 2006 - 9:44pm.

Twas in the land of Moores
When I first heard its call
The splashing melody seemed forever
cozy and comforting
Thus --
I seized this memory
and hid it in my heart
to live in my mind too for as long as i live
Now, flippin burgers in some busy city

I still find solace --
in recalling and reliving
the sounds of my youth
tho' the three o'clock lady interrupts
and the burgers are so often burnt

I will always find comfort
in my hidden waterfalls......

The Moor has crossed the ages, and knew you in a different time...a different place.
Now here, beneath the hidden waterfall and the mysterious solitary blade,
I will once again find your embrace.

You in one hand, and the fat-burger in the next:) This is the second night in a row I've taken a bath.
