The Face Of A Punk

assault | canadian tire | crime | drug addiction

This is the face of a punk:

This guy mugged a bunch of elderly women, including one who was 101 years old, for money so he could continue buying crack to support his drug habit.

His name is Jack Rhodes, and I figure the next time we hear his name, it'll either be for receiving a life sentence or for getting punked himself while in prison for what he did.

Either way, he'll deserve what he got.

Crack is the worst drug on this planet!!

Sassys
I bloody hate the stuff! Some will tell you that it's not as bad as some more recent crap...Well I have met many a crack head in my day, because they all attempt A.A. Very, very few succeed and they don't even bother with N.A.
It's about the only drug out there that I can say with all honesty I can't trust a person that's been on it. I would only trust a crackhead that's been sober for at least 2 years...and then with some trepidation.

You're a step on me, Sassys,...

because I would only trust one if they were living along a like in Montana, 4 hours away from most other civilization. The grip is powerful.

i have to disagree, sassys;

i live in southwestern missouri, which is known to have the most methamphetamine labs in the country. meth, i feel, is worse. i dated a former meth addict in high school (he got addicted when he was 14) and then lost touch with him after i graduated. after he dropped out of high school, he got back on that crap. he would call me in the middle of the night or 3 in the morning and tell me how i ruined his life. he put me through so much misery, because i felt like i had done something horrible to him. but it wasn't me, it was that goddamned drug. i think any addictive substance (including caffeine) is not worth the time or the money. meth eats away at addicts from the inside, but they don't notice because they're to busy being ripped or getting the things they need to get there. meth labs are highly explosive, not to mention incredibly toxic as well. it's disgusting. and that's why i think meth is the worst drug on the planet. of course, i don't know of all of them (i don't know much about heroin); but i'm thankful for that.

What you and Sassys are having,...

is a generational argument as it pertains to drugs. In our age and day, crack was the worst thing in the world because it was cheap and easily obtained, and it took people harder and quicker than cocaine, which was expensive. The thing about meth is that it's relatively easy to make, but it's also today's big drug because it's purely American, if that makes sense.

You don't see the kind of money with meth that crack was drawing, but the "person" using meth is much different than the person who used to be a crack addict. I'll leave it there for now.

Sad story all around but there is a solution:

from birth everyone is treated consistently with humanity and there are no disparities in the treatment of any individual ever and no disparaties in opportunities throughout the life of all. Is that utopia?

Actually, Purple,...

it's more of a pipe dream, but that's okay because we all get to have dreams. Thing is, if that's all it took, then alcohol would have never been invented.

In today's world, people are always looking for a reason to change their lives in some fashion. Some actually go out and do something positive; others look for ways to numb themselves.

And those who can't handle it either ruin their lives or the lives of others.
