The End of an Era
In my hometown, there was a shop that specialized in selling grandfather clocks and grandfather clock accessories. It was a small shop that was there every since I could remember. I never saw any customers go in there, but it stayed in business somehow. For years, I would drive by it and look inside at all of the custom-made clocks and hope that one day I could actually be one of their customers. I always wanted to go in there to just look around and see what kind of other things they had besides what they had in the display window. Unfortunately, it went out of business a few years ago. It was kind of a sad thing to see the “Going out of Business” signs because it was a part of my life for over two decades. And now it is no more.
