The Dumbest Idea of the Week Award Goes to...

An unnamed woman in my own little town in the Inland Empire of Southern California. Local news reported that this brilliant piece of genetics was walking near an embankment along the Zanje creek wash (quite near my house) when she came across a pipe bomb (you know, all the creeks have ‘em nowadays). Concerned, she did what any normal citizen would do...

She picked up the bomb, took it several blocks with her over to the local police station, walked in the door and set it on the desk. “I think this is a bomb.

Cops SCATTERED–probably the fastest any of them have moved in their entire careers thanks to life in a small town. Entire place was evacuated while bomb squad officials moved in to “do their stuff. The device was confirmed to be a pipe bomb of some sort.

So remember kids, if YOU come across a suspicious looking device that ticks, has a timer, sticks of dynamite attached to it, or smears of plasticine-- Don’t Delay! The P.D. may have stopped making house calls for all you know, so come on down and bring that crime to your local precinct in person! To think I was home when this occured, just a couple blocks away...

I guess I missed the instructional video on the handling
of a mysterious package or piece of metal with wires hanging off it and
possibly is making a ticking noise...

I do believe that once the hands are dismembered from the body, one may have a
slight idea as to what the object was!!

Cannot reiterate enough... If it looks suspicious, don't touch it and call the authorities!!

Better safe then sorry...
