This is a group that I've just been turned on to by my youngest son. Interestingly enough, his musical journey started out to in listening to rap. He was of course caught up in the movment, which as everyone knows, is worldwide.

Quiet talks with the ol' man, and intellectual pursuits have given him a whole new perspective on what music means to him. He quickly moved through some of the major works of Sun Ra, Coltrane, Miles, and McCoy Tyner to name a few. What he discovered is a whole universe of talent that would otherwise have been hidden.

Jaga Jazzist is a group from Europe that mixes the whole musical genre up in a mellow, thoughtful, and intuitive context. They deliver! It's hard to explain what their music does. The only thing I can is that it is somehow uniquely spiritual.

THE MOOR
I'll start with the #5 cut on their CD "WHAT WE MUST". Swedenborgske Rom is the name of the melody. This is a musical journey that seems almost magical.
