The Catholic Church Did Not Write the Bible

JohnnyP5379's picture

There has been a long standing debate between many bloggers here, myself included, as to the truth and reliability of the Bible. At this point, the debate has broken down and the fault lies on both sides. I do, however, have one more point to get across.

Contrary to what one blogger (no free advertising this time) would say, the Catholic Church did not write the Bible. I will concede the point that they may have translated several editions, but they did not write the text. The text itself was written by over 40 authors, including Moses, Solomon, Peter, John, James, Ezra, David, and, of course, Paul. According to church history and tradition, Peter was the start of the Catholic Church, so he is the only author from that list who would have been a Catholic. Most of the others were Jewish and everyone knows Catholics hate Jews. Not because they are anti-Semitic, but because everyone hates the Jews, including the Jews.

I am sure that this post will be attacked like my other posts and that is fine. I would ask that, before you disagree with me, you find concrete evidence to the contrary of what I said. Otherwise, just keep quiet and do not show your ignorance.
