The Cartoon Characters of BloggerParty

Sassypuss was talking to herself the other night (she often does this while admiring her reflection in the mirror) and she got to thinking about cartoons (she often does that, too). In thinking about cartoons, Sassyspuss thought that she could find a cartoon character that matched each BloggerParty blogger’s personality or, failing that, could find the antithesis of each blogger’s personality in a cartoon character.

We sat there laughing and trying out cartoon characters for hours. Here’s what we came up with. What do you think? Did we make some good matches?

Catfish
“Aaahhhhh, mon ami, your lips are like clover, your eyes like those of a frightened doe. Come to me, mon petite chou. Quickly, before my wife reads this. Mmmmwah! Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmmwah!”

Oh yeah, Pepe Le Pew’s got nothing on our Catfish! Just kidding, Catfish. We chose Pepe for you because of your style and panache.

2catDave
“What in the Sam Hill’s goin’ on around here? Oooooooo!!!! That rabbit makes me soooo mad!!!!”

While generally mild in nature, Sassypuss thinks 2cat has the potential to go totally Yosemite Sam on your ass if you don’t watch out.

Manodogs
"We will take over the world Pinky, now follow me"

Manodogs perfectionism is key to being The Brain from Pinky and the Brain.

Seanabc
"But, Brain, what will we do tomorrow?"

We see Seanabc as the extremely sweet and naive Pinky. Of course, we don’t know Seanabc very well, yet. He might not be as sweet and naïve as we think he is…..

“Meep!Meep! Pthlthlthlthlthlthlthlthlthlthlthlthllthl!!”

HuttRiver has all the wisdom and courage of the Roadrunner, no matter what numbers he uses after his name!

Hatsrus
“Hmmmm….this new marmalade from Acme Trading would go wonderfully with stewed Roadrunner.”

Hatsrus’s love of jam and desserts must leave room for more wholesome fare, like stewed Roadrunner.

SueJeff
“Heh, heh, heh. That pethky Tweety-bird ith no match for me, the ththththmartest cat in the world!”

Of course, Sylvester the Cat is the complete opposite of Suejeff who is, without a doubt, the cleverethththt cat we know.

SeanLovett
“I tought I taw a Suejeff. Now, whea did that sneaky ole putty-tat go? Here, kitty, kitty, kitty. I have a surpwise for you! Ha!Ha!Ha! I’m a sneaky wittle devil, aren’t I?”

SeanLovett is every bit as clever as Tweety-bird - and every bit as devilish, too!

Jellen
“Tweety-bird! Sylvester! Now where are those two? I hope they’re playing nicely together.”

Trusting, loving Jellen may be too young to play the part of Granny but she certainly is sweet enough.

Tottie
“Hee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee! I’ll get that rabbit for my potion pot, yet!”

No, we don’t think Tottie resembles Witch Hazel in the least. Not in the least! But we thought she’d have fun chasing Bugs around on her broomstick – if she can remember to get her flying broom and not her sweeping broom.

Djbtol
“Be vewy, vewy quiet. I’m hunting democwats.”

Djbtol is our favorite Republican and we certainly don’t hold that speech impediment against him.

Sassys
“Eeeeh! What’s all the hub-bub…..Bub? What cha doin’ with your head in that hole?”

Sassys, with her quick and devastating wit, epitomizes all things Bugs – don’t you think?

Pussy Willow
“Now, wait just one minute! Wait! Wait!....Bang!!!!....Yooouuurrr’e dethththththpicable!”

Pussy Willow would probably rather not be the embodiment of all things Daffy but we calls ‘em like we sees ‘em. Ya’ know?

TXKJUN
“I say, hea, I say, what’s goin’ on hea? Boy? You gotta mighty funny way ‘a doin’ things.”

We’d pick TXKJUN to be the rooster in our hen house any ole day.

Spookyyank
“Eeeeeerrrrrr-yyoooowwww-grrrrrrrrr-oooowwww! Ugh! Where rabbit go?”

Spookyyank sweeps in and takes center stage, just like the Tazmanian Devil. But just like Taz, she’s got her soft, sweet side.

Aussie Sire
“Natasha, I’m going to kiss you aaaallll over, as soon as we have captured Moose and Squirrel.”

There’s just something about our Sire that makes us think of Boris. Maybe it’s Boris’s unrelenting determination.

Inquest of a Woman
“Boris, dahlink, forget Moose and Squirrel. Kiss me, you fool!”

Knowing how fond Inquest is of Sire, she just naturally came to mind as the perfect Natasha!

ModelMom
“Golly gee, Bullwinkle! How are we gonna get out of this predicament?”

As resourceful and quick as ModelMom is, we thought she would make the perfect Rocky. Don’t you?

Intricate Girl
“Well, this is a pickle…….no, it’s more of a pistachio….or maybe an avocado.”

Of course, Bullwinkle is the perfect antithesis of Intricate Girl, which is why we chose him for her.

James24
“Rerro! Scooby snacks! Mmmmmmm…mmmm…mmmm. Scooby-Rooby-Roooooo!!!”

James24 has all the endearing qualities of Scooby Doo with the addition of a few more brain cells. What’s not to love about that?

Ammorton
“Yikes! Let’s get outa here, Scooby! I smell cheeseburgers!!!”

Now, we’re not saying that Ammorton needs a shave or anything, but as our resident metal-head, we think she makes kind of a good match for Shaggy.

Brandon Daubs
“Don’t have a cow, man.”

We like Brandon Daubs a lot. Almost as much as we like Bart Simpson.

Huey
“Doh!”

Since Huey has never written even one single post of his own, existing merely to comment and drive Pussy Willow round the bend, we think he is the ultimate personification of Homer Simpson.

Numbdeplum
“Wilma! I’m home!!!!”

And just when are you coming home, Numbedeplum? We miss you!
