The Career I'm Wanting

I'm retarded.

Only physically, but that makes my speed even more unpredictable---in that I do not do speedy things.

Among other things, that unpredictable-status has eliminated me from the working-class. Of those other things, my parents' divorce and their self-involvement has kept me from the education required to be above the working-class.

Thus I've had to give an 'evaluation' to Vocational Rehab. Looking at the tests there, they told me that I should become a producer/director.

But my vocational counselor told me today that I would have to've had 20+ years of experience to become a producer/director at one of the city's local television stations (let alone a stage-house, national television company, or motion-picture company.)

If I'd been more-awake, I would've told her that I would only need a bit of experience if I owned the producing company!
