The Anemic UN resolution on Israeli-Hizbullah war

Below is the full text of the recent U.N. (or Utter Nonsense, this time) on the Israel-Hizbullah war:

START PAGE: "OK, everybody settle now, children--you've got your fruity-candies.
(1)Hizbullah can now stop spending Iranian-paid Katyusha rockets, call a roll call on its members and conduct inventory of damaged terror, er, corporate infrastructures. OK? (You guys can re-group later and do some recruiting jobs, but puleeeeez, delay it for at least two years or more, OK?)

(2) Aside from helping your Prime Minister end his obviously feigned bravery, you Jews can now live in a relatively calm environment--whatever that means--by immediately pulling those troops from South Lebanon now! See, stop flaunting your disastrous intelligence gathering, disastrously displayed when Hizbullah lured you into that trap in Qana. We'll get UN troops patrol your border, and we promise you--they will be as effective as they have been proven to be futile before! (and oh, don't forget to start deploying your PATRIOT missiles as soon as you shut your border gates. we don't want you rampaging again if some wayward Hizbullah rocket stray into the hood).

(3) First thing: say hoooray! to yourselves, Americans! You did a great job delaying this crap, er, resolution to buy Israelis time in an attempt to pulverize your bad guys! Now you will never get that chance har! har! har! [Disclaimer: the last sentence was written by the French, and does not reflect in any way, the views of other Anti-Semite members of the Security Council]. Now you get Hizbullah severely beaten, relative peace in the Middle East--whatever that means--so get contented. Besides, don't you guys notice the heavy eyebags dangling on Condi's angry face? Shuttle diplomacy can be exhausting!

(4) OK France, et.al you got three-second shot at self-importance. (Hope your narcissistic pestering won't happen if aliens invade Normandy!)" END PAGE.

Dr. Condoleeza Rice says "hard work of diplomacy" was only beginning with the passage of the resolution and that it would be unrealistic to expect an immediate end to all violence," reports AFP.

Now that's realistic. What's unrealistic was to allow Hizbullah breath and expect a long-term peace. And unless Condi orders a massive emigration of Californians to Syria, she can't expect "other nations stop interfering in "Lebanon's affairs."

THe UN resolution calls for other alleged well-defined plans that will purportedly lead to the complete disarmament of Hizbullah.

Quite oddly, it did not say how.
