The 2 shootings in VA today... it's on TV now

Do you know what? I'm getting ready to go out and do some stuff and I hear this newsbreak on TV. Now, I absolutely hate the news becasue by the time I've watched it I'm usually so disgusted in mankind that I don't want to leave the house.

I keep saying that not all people are evil but we do need to be aware of those that are. That's just obvious in today's world.
But lemme tell ya what... what in the hell is going on in this world today? I mean where the hell are these people getting these guns? Howz that work anyway?

They just said 32 people are dead. Some body lost their mind in this crazy world and took it out on 31 other people. What the F? You know... days like this make me want to go out and buy that handgun I have a permit for. Well it's for a rifle but still, you know what I mean. Course in a case like this that'd be useless, I know... and I sure wouldn't want to have it at the guys' trial if I were one of those parents because I'd likely get shot myself if he hurt my kid ... you know that revenge thing comes right back atcha... they'd shoot me!

I mean, I have a daughter and you know lately I'm thinkiong about moving and it's like where in the hell do you go so it's safe? I mean this is my primary thought process as I go through all these real estate listings, and it just seems like ... there isn't a place that's safe. Not at all... ya know?

Okay, now as to the policmen I saw in these video's in the news, and with no disrespect intended to our boys in blue, but WHY are they allowed to get over weight? Why is there not some physical examination and standard that they are to be kept to? I know a few correctional officers and they are in shape! They work out, they take care of themselves and they train. How is it that other municipalities do not do this? I really think that this is something that needs to be implemented within the force for "their" safety as well as anyone they go out to help... seriously.

I mean it's not good for them due to some of the dangerous conditions they face, and it's certainly an additional stressor to their body aside from the massive stress they go through just being an officer and seeing all the stuff they see as well...

I just don't know what things are coming down to...
