AKB48 gets manga project

AKB48's surging Team B, gaining in popularity relative to Teams A and K, is now subject of a manga produced by the group's founder.
YO's rating: A | Tokyograph is all over this intriguing story about AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto's venture into the printed manga market -- using his own AKB48 as story material! It appears the first chapter of this manga is already out, with Team B member Mayu Watanabe the focus. This is an even more marked spinoff from, say, Hello Project singers being used in anime productions as voice-overs, i.e. Kusumi, or theme-song singers, i.e. Buono!. With Natsuo Kume illustrating, this promises to be very interesting!
