I'm not a believer by any means, but I have my reasons for it. And, it seems that today's youths may be following somewhat in my footsteps, but for much different reasons, according to this news story.

Everyday young men, women, and children die at the hands of violent criminals. Some deaths are drug related or gang violence; some are domestic violence or robberies gone badly. Many, far too many, are children playing on the sidewalk or parks caught in the cross fire.

It's all in hollywood, celebrities basically starving themselves because they think they'll look better or fit better in some clothing.

Personally, I don't mind some fat. I can't stand skinny anorexic though as I don't see the beauty in it. Perhaps, they do look better in some clothing, but I still don't think it's worth it. I mean, health is extremely important no?

I remember when I was young, I was always very naive and gullible. Because of that fact I have been fooled many times by many people.
Now I am very cold and hard
and that is very sad.

To quote Bette Davis: "Old age is no place for sissies." Within the next few years over 50% of this nation's people will be over the age of 60. 60 is considered to be the youth of old age.

I'm not sure when I aged. I was too busy to notice. But suddenly, there I was, wrinkles, pot belly and all. I haven't accepted it very well. It came as a surprise and it still seems odd and out of character. Inside I just don't feel 60.

So my trials and tribulations are well documented throughout the BP community. I guess it’s easier for me to talk to people I don’t know. To be honest, it’s all a little embarrassing because deep down I think there is an element of weakness involved when you complain.

Anyways, today I had an interview and it went okay, but the job does not start until June. I would love to wait because it is a really nice opportunity, but I am just not afforded that luxury at the present time. At the same time, I may not even be one of the candidates the compnay is considering. It' s a three step interview process so who knows. None of this is that important to what I have to say. What is important to me is that as I rode the bus in my favorite gold tie and square toed Steve Maddens, partially because I did not drive out to Cali where I now reside and thus do not have a car and partially because my license was revoked due to my own misguidedness let’s call it (spell checker says misguidedness is not a word), I realized it was time to man up.
