I think work at home mum's, (being one myself)really need to be recognised. It is so hard to juggle kids, house cleaning and work. I am proud of all the work at home mum's out there.

I grew up in the west of Ireland, in the wild countryside, without running water or an indoor toilet, central heating, a telephone or a car, with public transport limited to one bus per week to the nearest big town which was thirteen miles away. The surprising thing is that I’m not ninety years old! I’m substantially younger. I moved to Dublin in the mid 1990s when I was still in my late teens. In my time here the place has changed immensely.

I hate working 2nd shift becuase it means I miss all the late night games...I have not seen one NCAA game this year...I can only see the high lights on the news....At least I have a full time Job with benifits....In Michigan right now it's almost impossible to find full time work so I"m lucky I quess.....

I think I'm going to quite my job and move down south and drink vodka for a living:)

Has anybody checked out http://www.backpage.com? It's kind of like craigslist, but I like it so much more.

There set up is alot like craigslist as well. They have several different cities. You simply click on the link on the right hand side. It's free to use. If you have something to sell, you can post a free ad, or do some upgrades. They send an email, and you simply click on the link to confirm your ad.

I've been so busy with all my work stuff I haven't been able to blog much. But seeing as I get paid hourly for the other things, it's kind of a no brainer of where to spend my time.

I do want to get back to blogging though, I miss hanging out here and learning all the great stuff that is shared.

I also need to get back to setting my weekly goals! Focus focus focus is the key!

I've been working on two different websites that I'm trying to get up and running - will be posting about those hopefully soon - one is for inspiration, support, encouragement, life improvement, etc., and the other is for triplets and more.

What is after college?
That is the question most college graduates will ask themselves.

After college there will be lots of things to do .... the first is to write lots of application letters, sign up to a few career forums, get to know many 'VIPs' of interest and thousands of other things. Never say life is boring, as you won't even have time to rest.

Sad to say, these days, after college ... doing all that you can, a good job is hard to come by.

Life is about to change drastically at my workplace. Thanks to a loophole in busniess law, a union is ramming its fist down our throats. To better clarify this, our company was set to vote yay or nay on Friday the 28th. Their were 80 bargaining-unit employees ready to cast their vote and make their voice known. Three days prior, the union, the local 775 of the SEIU, ran by the ever nauseating David Rolf, called for an investigation on my company. Charges were filed with the National Labor Board and the vote was put on hiatus. At first, we thought it was simply because the rumor mill suggesting that less then half of the staff planned to vote yes for a union but the chilling reality came later.

I've come to the conclusion that most of the union supporters at work eat Cracker Jacks for the toy surprise. They know in their hearts that something wonderful is hiding in that box yet can't see the wedge they've drived between themselves and the rest of us. Fortunately, as the truth gets out there the numbers are dwindling.

It's hard to imagine people believing that an organization can take their money and force a workplace that operates on a fixed income (medicare/ medicaid, retiree's pockets, etc.) and magically create money out of nothing.

It is now week two of my new job and I'm doing well. I hit the beat last week, and hit the fax, email, and phone the past two days. There are some nos, plenty of maybes and the sweet one or two yes'. But I have been staying focused and keeping with my plan, and it's working. And it's work too! I remember the days when I would go crazy not having anything to do but clean the house. And the depression sets in on the no body likes me issues.
