I have always loved winning prizes. In February, my husband and I were lucky enough to win a big screen TV as part of a free gifts raffle his company was doing at work. How amazing that was for us! We don't usually have that kind of luck.

I also love ebay. There is nothing better than winning an auction and getting something for a great price! Well, I can name a few things, but I really do get a thrill out of winning. The only problem is that sometimes the bids get so high that I can't afford to keep bidding.

Yesterday I was having a bad day. My husband went out of town, and invariably, something disastrous happens when he leaves town. My son missed the bus due to believing another child's lie, I sent an email to an animal rescue group because the allergies are too much for my husband, my renter seemed pretty upset when I tried to enforce a clause of the contract (that actually protects him more than it does me), and the contract needs amended anyway, but it has to wait until my husband gets back since he needs to sign it. All in all, this isn't a catastrophe, especially compared with what normally happens when he leaves town. But it did have me feeling a little down.
