I at times get nauseated when I think of all the money some individuals have. Take Mr. Bill Gates for example. The last time I heard he had amassed over $50 billion dollars. Why would anyone need so much money? It just doesn't make much sense to have a huge house with more rooms in it than he could possibly manage. And to top it off, when he dies he won't take one penny of it with him. Why that means that $500 million dollars to him would be like 1 penny out of a single dollar. If all the money in the world was equally divided among all the people of the world, everyone would get $144,000 each!! Yet these rich fatcats are living high off the hog while the rest of us are languishing in utter poverty! Yes I know Bill and other extremely wealthy persons are supposedly giving to various charities and causes some of which are just a waste of money that could help some very needy people but I now challenge any wealthy people out there who reads this post to have some serious soul searching and consider the foolish rich man in Luke 12:

Who does not want to be rich ? The greed for money and wealth is inherent in the human race. While some succeeds in their pursuit of becoming rich some others miserably fail in their endeavour. What could be the reason? Misplaced Goals ?, Improper planning? Wrong Choice of means? let it be anything it does keeps us down.

While the actual reason for the eluding success could be traced back to the inherent deficiencies of the personality,or of the peculiarity of situations in which the subject was placed, one may find it baffling , why some others reap sucess in a similar situation and at the same time!
