"Who were my grandparents?" I asked myself this question for many years and decided, when I was discharged from the Air Force, I would start searching.

My Father left our little family when my sister was just 3 years old and I wouldn't show up until 5 months later.

I had a cousin who was deeply involved in researching her side of the family and for several years she wanted me to get involved. At the time I was very busy with a business and passed off the suggestion.

The war in Iraq I believe is the right thing to do. I of all people will never forget 9-11-2001. That is the only reason we are there. It is my belief however, that our troops both there and here at home should be given the utmost care for injuries both physical and emotional. We have lost so many men and women for this cause, and it is really hard.. What is harder is when they come home to be with the family and friends they left and not get care they desperately need... How can we let this happen? How do people of the medical profession not read the signs and help even when our troops don't know they need it???
