vomit

So I've been sick since the weekend. My throat is swollen to the point that it's almost closed, I have a permanent headache and I cannot eat much of anything because I have a virus on top of sinus problems.

Thanksgiving certainly ended with a blaze of glory at my house. It started with me. I couldn’t even finish a plate of food, which mostly consisted of cranberry sauce and I think we all know that cranberry sauce isn’t real food. After a day of not really eating, but feeling like I’d done nothing but eat, I broke down and changed into my stretchy waistband pants- even though all of my in laws were still at our house. I was in pain. It wasn’t 30 minutes after the last of them had left and I was locked in the bathroom, with the worst kind of stomach bug. I’m talking projectile vomit people, literally call the priest. Remember that “blaze of glory� I mentioned earlier? Well, I misspoke- there was no glory only blaze. My continual vomiting eventually brought on a migraine, and migraine have a lovely way of making me vomit. What a joyous holiday!
