Orlando Woman Puts Baby in Warm Oven
Submitted by maxima on November 21, 2007 - 6:41am. baby in the oven | google trends | Sharlyn Singh | trendsIt is difficult to believe that an Orlando mother can put a baby in the warm oven.
This is what happened in Florida when 29 year old Sharlyn Singh put her 11 month old baby in the oven after a break up with the baby's father.
On Transformers, Movie Trends, and Predictions
Submitted by silentwaters on July 24, 2007 - 7:54pm. Cartoons | childhood | comics | film | g i joe | movies | ninja turtles | predictions | transformers | trendsTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, then the Transformers, and now an officemate just told me that G.I. Joe is being turned into a movie. Not to mention X-Men, Spiderman, and Fantastic 4. See the trend here? It seems the movie industry has run out of original ideas and are cashing in on our childhood (or theirs). Not that that's a bad thing. It's always a treat to look back to the past and see how much different it is from today. For a couple of hours, we become innocent children staring with wonder at the TV screen, watching Robots transforming to cars. We can sit back and laugh at how we used to think that it was so cool to have a turtle who was a mutant, a ninja, and a teenager who used expressions like "Dude" and "Cowabanga!" (what teenager in this day and age use those expressions?)
The Tunic Trend
Submitted by Trishzen on December 29, 2006 - 9:44am. clothes | dedication | fashion | quantum | trendsI think now is a great time for anyone over 5'8 to stock up on clothes. At 5'10 I have the hardest time finding clothes that fit! However nowadays, the long, tunic style is very in- and I'm in love with it.
If it ever leaves, I believe I'll cry. I no longer have to settle for shirts and sweaters that show my belly every time I lean over. I've done away with those clothes.
A lot of people think its so great to be tall. When it comes to shopping, it really sucks! I wear a medium top, but the arms are too short. I can't buy jeans, just anywhere, because on me, everything is a capri.
STOP THE POP!!!
Submitted by D Weezy on April 14, 2006 - 9:53am. clothing | fashion | trendsStarting back in college whenever me and my friends would encounter someone with a "popped" collar (wearing the collar up) we would just kind of laugh to ourselves. It got to the point where whenever we encountered a "popped" collar in a bar, somebody would always make the obligatory "i'm gonna go over and tell him his collar is up" comment/joke.
Well I graduated from college in May 2003. Here it is April 2006, almost three years later, and what do I see when I'm walking down the street? I see a Gap display showcasing one of their new products for the spring-- the "popped polo". I was stopped dead in my tracks for like two minutes (in NYC that is an eternity).
