After writing the entry entitled “Magkano Po Ito? (How Much is This?)”, I was struck with the idea of writing something about consumer goods prices in the Philippines (particularly in Metro Manila). Well, it’s really more of a “recording” than “writing”… nevertheless, I thought, this kind of information can be very useful to a lot of people (such as those who are doing research and those who are planning to visit the country).

These ridiculous machines were mere attractions at first. They were clumsy and very uncomfortable. It was only when the Fetuccini brothers invented the double chain mechanism that modern bycicles appeared.

public transportation in pittsburgh
Submitted by ngwitt on September 27, 2006 - 10:30am. bus | Public transportation | transportationEverytime I get on the bus, I noticed everyone sits in a seat that is completly empty. Why do people fear sitting next to others? Just the other day a man got on the bus, started to sit next to me, and then noticed a completly empty seat near by so instead sat there. I agree that we all need a bit of personal space but why can people not sit next to one another at all?
Why I love living in New York City
Submitted by D Weezy on May 19, 2006 - 2:22pm. new york city | people | transportation | Weezy's ThoughtsYesterday I had to go back to work around 6pm (I'm a personal trainer, so i go back and forth to the gym when I have clients). So I hop on a crosstown bus during the height of rush hour. Yesterday it was pouring raining, so people who would normally walk were taking the bus so it was pretty crowded. Luckily I get on the bus before it gets to crowded so I had a front row seat for what was about to happen.
