Recently my old Macintosh laptop gave up the ghost. It had worked half-heartedly for the last couple of years and had an adapter to make it work in our pickup when we went camping so I kept “making do.� More and more I had been watching ads for wireless computers and, although you all know that I am an electronic ignoramus, I couldn’t help but think how great it would be to sit out at a picnic table and blog away by the hour. Especially, since one of our favorite campgrounds had recently started to advertise that they were equipped for wireless computing.
