Wesley Snipes is objecting to the cost. He was convicted in February of three counts of willfully failing to file his income taxes. He has appealed the convictions and a three year prison sentence.

The actor Wesley Snipes is being allowed to remain free on bail as he appeals three federal tax convictions. Judge William Terrell Hodges doesn’t see Snipes as a flight risk and says he is not a threat to the community. The judge granted Snipes’ motion for bail on Thursday pending the appeal of his case. Snipes’ attorneys plan on arguing before the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals that the trial judge erred in several ways before and after the recent conviction where Snipes was sentenced to three years in prison on three misdemeanor counts of willful failure to file his income tax returns.

Norway:Finance Minister Kristin Halvorsen is considering giving prostitutes a tax exemption.

"My primary desire is to get those involved in prostitution out of it. There are examples of individuals who are forced to continue because they need to earn money to pay back taxes and this is a situation we don't want," Halvorsen told newspaper Dagbladet.

A recent lawsuit filed in Washington by a former Halliburton employees claims that the government was charged for such things as widescreen TV’s, and snacks that Halliburton had shipped to Iraq in 2005.

The lawsuit also claims that the government was sometimes double and triple charged for Internet, food and athletic services provided for U.S. soldiers, the Los Angeles Times reported Saturday.
