Indian Ringnecks have been accused as not making very good pets. This is probably because they are known to go through a bit of a rebellious stage where they tend to bite. It is a bit like they are testing their limits and this phase will pass.

And So It Begins...

Today my daughter clearly said, "Mama" when I came in her room after her first nap of the day. She's been messing around with those syllables a lot but this is the first time that it's been for-sure directed at me. She's about 10-and-a-half months old, which makes her far younger than my son in terms of communication firsts. She's actually been saying "M-m-m-m" off and on when she's been crying and wanting me but this is the first time to my knowledge that more than the M sound was associcated with my presence. Too cool!

Short & Sweet

I like for people to get to the point. Make it short and sweet. I guess I learned this from my Grandfather who was a politician/judge. He received a lot of phone calls and he would listen patiently for a few minutes and then add, "Get to the Point."

Oh, I admire people who are detailed oriented. Especially those who Blog. I wish I could do that, but alas, my patience wears thin and I want to get to the point.
