I love dance, rollerblading, swimming and keep fit classes. I haven't been to any classes for a while though as they can be quite expensive and I'm looking for a new gym to join. The last gym I went to was really good. They had a pool, gym, sauna and classes. The pool was really clean aswell. I go rollerblading aswell and am looking aroud for some new skates. Any suggestions? At the moment I do some dancing in a studio nearby and go jogging 2 or 3 times a week.

It's too freakin HOT!!! What shall I do?
Submitted by writingdreams on August 3, 2006 - 7:49am. beach | books | Heat | hot | magazines | pool | swimming | weatherOkay ya'll, as several of you know, it's HOT on the EAST coast. I dont' remember it being this hot last year. Am I right? Was it? This past week we've had excessive heat warnings first thing in the morning until 8 p.m. WOW! At first when I heard this I thought, yeah right it won't be that hot. Haha, I was wrong.
We tried going to the beach on the first day of the heat advisory but we only stayed for about an hour, that was just too much heat. I even got burned, hubby got it worse though, but his will tan mine won't. :( Not to worry, kids somehow didn't burn.
You Can't Win Them All
Submitted by Jeanne Gibson on July 22, 2006 - 2:36pm. attorney | Bullies | Ehlers Danlos Syndrome | swimmingMost of us have heard the phrase, "You can’t win them all," many, many times, and, perhaps, even used it ourselves. There is a lot of truth in the statement, so it is probably a good idea, to not even try. Wise people pick their battles carefully, choosing to fight only when they know they can win, or when a principle they cannot bear to see compromised is at stake.
When we are children, we find out that there are certain bullies in the class that we, in most cases, make every effort to avoid. True, there are times when the behavior of the bully goes beyond what we can accept and we choose to fight, no matter what the outcome, but, in general, we avoid confrontation with cantankerous foes.
Sports and Controversies.....

Athens | diamonds | greece | Law Offices | Olympics | Sports | swimmingWhile we all know that the Winter Olympics this past year was our major entertainment this past year. We still have excellent memories of the Summer Olympics of 2004 that was held in Athens, Greece.
While we always think of the festivities and excitment that happens at these events, we may not be aware of the "behind the scenes".....
Seems like there are always so many controversies going on during the Summer Olympics.....there was one that came into mind that happened to Nancy Burpee during that year....
Nancy Burpee: Paralympic Swimming Champion
Submitted by Jeanne Gibson on June 14, 2006 - 1:40pm. Nancy Burpee | paralympics | swimmingNancy Burpee, suffers from Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a genetic disease which causes deterioration of the connective tissues of her body.
At an early age, Nancy experienced health problems that would daunt most of us, but her steadfast resolve and competitive nature have brought her through a myriad of broken bones and other illnesses. Since the 9th grade, she has had more than 20 surgeries, and was told she would be wheel-chair bound by the age of 30. So far, that prediction has not come true.
