Let me tell you a story about karma and how I made $250 by reporting an Adsense cheater!

It started when I came upon a web site where some kid was blatantly breaking the rules by asking his buddies to click on his Adsense ads.

This has got to be one of my biggest pet peeves! Why do people think they can break the rules at the expense of other peoples' AdWords budgets?

In 2004, a woman named Nancy Burpee attempted to qualify for the 2004 Paralympic Games held in Athens, Greece. It seems she was good enough to set world records in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle, but not good enough to earn a spot on the team. She was disqualified by an Australian referee for a procedural technicality. She contacted a lawfirm, Simmons, Jannace & Stagg who took her case pro-bono in order to get her disqualification overturned, and get her a spot on the team. Other referees gave testimony that the Australian referee did not want an Australian paralympic swimmer to have to compete against her. The law firm showed that these swim trials did not follow the established rules. That's what makes this such an outrage. They set the rules, and don't follow them, yet she gets disqualified based on the rules. Confused yet??
