Soy yogurt is a healthier form of yogurt because it is made with soy milk from soy beans instead of cow’s milk. The natural compounds in the yogurt can help to control blood sugar levels by slowing down carbohydrate digestion. Also, the yogurts are usually all-natural, organic, and dairy free.

Diet soda can increase the risk of having high amounts of belly fat, high blood sugar levels, and high cholesterol. A person that drinks one diet soda each day have a 34 percent higher risk of having these things than people who don’t drink diet soda. To have a healthier and tasty drink, it is a good idea to mix freshly cut fruit such as berries and citrus fruits, with seltzer water.

Bring your body and mind back into a balanced relationship with sugar to maintain healthy weight, reduce your risk of illness, boost your energy and even lift your mood. You can have plenty of sweet fruits, whole grains, and milk all containing natural sugar. Cutting back on the added sugar in your diet (free sugar, cakes et al) will give you the physiological balance you need for long-term health. Also keep a sharp lookout for hidden sugar in your diet like in breakfast cereals, biscuits, fruits juice concentrate and maple syrup. Just allow naturally sweet flavours to come alive.

I love dark chocolate. I hear the hype about how it has antioxidants and all the health benefits of it. That's great, but...hmmm. The hype about dark chocolate having antioxidants is true, but don’t forget that dark chocolate is still chocolate.

The Sugar Cookies recipe, will start with 1 1/2 sticks of butter and 2 1/2 cups of sugar and 1 1/2 tsp salt. Combined together in mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. Than add 3 eggs, 2 tsp vanilla, 4 tbsp water too creamy mixer. Than add 2 1/2 cups of flour to creamy in mixing bowl, until you don't see anymore flour. I think stand mixers make making cookies easier.
