Besides the Genearl Search Engines that can be used for submission and search for all kind of content, in recent years, many Search Engines and Directories are specializing exclusively on the Blogs submission and searching capabilities. I am not going to review them all in this post. Especially, taking in an account, that new players appear daily.

We all get them. Anyone who has seriously submitted their work for publication has received his/her share of rejection letters, and we always hate them (especially the form rejection letters). However, believe it or not, you don't always receive them because your writing is sub-standard. How do I know this? Well, I'm one of those dirty rats who has sent a few of them. Along with working as an editor for a technical magazine, I'm also a prose editor for an online e-zine, an award winning one that receives a lot of submissions. Needless to say, I've sent my share of rejections, and that isn't to say that I enjoyed doing it. However, I can definitely shed some light on the subject.

Obviously, waiting is a part of life for everyone, whether it's waiting in bumper-to-bumper traffic or something more stressful like waiting for medical test results. While the writer's lot isn't quite so pressing, it is definitely a universal part of one's writing career. Now we all understand that when you submit your work for publication, that yours is not the only manuscript or query being read (believe it or not, editors have other things to do too, but I digress). Often writers can be an impatient bunch (and I'm no exception, this is just as much for me as anyone else).
