I submit articles to 125 to 150 sites when I am submitting for backlinks. You do not need to make this many submissions every day, but try to submit articles for backlinks about once each month.

When writing articles for traffic, the technique is a little different. Submit your article to the 20 to 25 largest article directories. Include no more than two links in your resource box. The first link should direct people to your website. If you include a second link, it should point to a related product that you are promoting. By including just one link, you will maximize the number of clicks you get going to your site. This is the best way to increase traffic. Write at least one article every day to get the most traffic possible.

Writing for income entails a slightly different strategy. Again, you should submit your articles to the 20 to 25 largest sites. But in this case, include three links in each resource box. You first link should point to your squeeze page. This will increase the size of your list and will provide you with the opportunity to make great profits in the future. Your second and third links should direct readers to products that you are promoting. You can use your own products or affiliate items. To optimize this strategy, you should submit two or three articles every day. Submitting just one article a day will work okay, but your progress will be much slower.
