Hi folks!

I thought I should take a moment to introduce myself. I've been obsessed with all things celebrity since my kindergarten crush on the guy who played Roy on Emergency. Now that I is the mother of two children with health problems, I enjoy escaping into the lifestyles of the rich and famous even more. One of my favorite time-wasters is to Google celebrity "has beens" (like various members of the cast of Barney) to see what they are doing now. My current obsessions include Tori Amos, Hugh Laurie, the upcoming seasons of Survivor and American Idol, CSI, Pearl Jam, Evanescence, Britney Spears (hey, who isn't?), and the hosts of certain children's television shows.

Reports from a Pinelles County Courthouse say that Hulk Hogan's Wife has filed for divorce. For me this comes as a disappointment. They were one of the families I thought were almost untouched my stardom. I was proved wrong. And worst part is, Terry was told all this not by his wife (Who is In California) but by a reporter. He had no idea. Thanks jerk reporter. Because thats how I want to find out my world is going to crumble. (Not.)

I guess Lindsay Lohan has finally realized that she has a problem with alcohol. I remember reading in a tabloid a month or so ago that she was straightening up her act, but apparently she never did. I have to say I have never even heard of a 20 year old having that much access to alcohol. I thought it was illegal for anyone under 21 to drink.

You would think that some kind of authorities would have stepped in about this a long time ago. With all her money and everything she had going for her, the only thing she could think about was the next party?

The annual Leonid Meteor Shower will occur this weekend. It's sure to be an amazing show as at it's expected to show around 150 shooting stars an hour at it's peak.

Seeing this in the news this morning reminded me of a time a few years ago. Me and this guy I was dating and some of our friends went camping. We took his boat out to an island on the bay and that's where we set up camp.

So Sara Evans husband is planning on naming Kenny Chesney in the divorce papers..... As the other man. But there is one small problem. Kenny Chesney is denying ever having an affair with her.

In a statement released Thursday, his publicist writes, "The allegations that Kenny had an affair with Sara are impossible and totally untrue.

"Kenny views Sara as a friend and he is saddened by what she's going through."

I've seen several posts today about Brittney Spears, and I wanted to throw in my 2 cents.

I don't know if anyone ever watched their show (chaotic?), but I watched one episode and that was enough.

This kevin dude is such a loser. He already had 2 kids by a previous girlfriend. He has player wrote all over his forehead. He clearly just married her for the money, while she thought she was getting the love of her life. Now, they have 2 kids. So what's going to happen next? He will find someone else to hook up with and all four of his kids will be there for visitation. This man is going to end up having 10 kids by the time he's 40.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes pretty much took the world by surprise.

It really shocked me when Tom and Nicole Kidman got a divorce. She is a beautiful and well established actress. They seemed happy together. Then BOOM.

Next, we have Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah's couch, getting Brooke Shields mad, and acting crazy over Katie Holmes. And in my opinion, I don't think they are well matched. What tom was experiencing was lust.

Anytime you open up a tabloid or watch any kind of celebrity news, you see her. Paris Hilton. And that's where she likes to be. Let's face it, Paris loves to be the center of attention. You have to wonder if she ever takes her eyes away from the camera.

Men love her, but I think alot of women really dislike her. Could it be her shallow attitude and personality? With her, it's all about the looks. It would seem her days and nights are full of flirting, posing, clubbing, and partying. A person really has to wonder if there is a brain behind those color contact altered eyes.

Astronomers gathered at the Conference of the Astronomical International Union, in Sydney, Australia, consider that there is more stars in the sky than grains of sand in all the beaches and deserts of the whole world.
And the figure to which they arrived is astronomical!
There are 70 sextillions of stars. In other words: the number seven followed by 22 zeros.
This means that the number of stars in the visible universe is much bigger that the quantity of grains of sand in the whole planet Earth. And this is just taking into account the actual reach of modern telescopes. Doctor Simon Drive from the Australian National University pointed out that the real number can be even bigger.
